The Harv Toback Fund for the Arts was established in 2017. Our mission is to raise much-needed funding for art therapy programs for hospitals and medical facilities. Harv believed in the healing power of art, and so his legacy lives on as we continue to do the work he started.
December 2020: We are so pleased to announce that we have fully funded the 3rd year of The Harv Toback Creative Arts Therapy Fellowship. The fellowship will continue providing art therapy to patients at the Kravis Children's Hospital of Mount Sinai. This year has presented its fair share of challenges for us all, and for a young non-profit like ours, we simply could not have reached our goal without your incredible support and generous contributions.
Thank you.
December 2019: On September 21st, we held our 2nd Fundraiser and Silent Auction, benefiting the Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department at the Kravis Children's Hospital of Mount Sinai. Through your generous support, we are excited to say we have met our fundraising goal of $10,000, which has funded the second year of The Harv Toback Creative Arts Therapy Fellowship.
Winner of The Greenwich Film Festival, Inwood Film Festival and Shawna Shea Memorial Film Festival, "Harv" is a short documentary about the healing power of art, told through interviews with Harv and the people who loved him most.
